Medium frequency electronic induction casting machine, suitable for melting all dental alloys (except titanium and pure platinum).

This version allows the user to cast any type of alloy under the best conditions. The materials which tend to oxidize more easily can be melted in an inert environment and injected under vacuum pressure. In addition vacuum contributes to eliminate gases susceptible to persist inside the investment canals. These gases tend to create an obstruction to the free flowing of melted metal and maybe the cause for the formation of air bubbles or defects. The melting temperature is constantly supervised by an optical pyrometer. All of the components necessary for the correct operation (vacuum pump, vacuum gauge and depressurizing valve) are standard installed inside the casting machine.

Version equipped with an optical pyrometer for indirect temperature read-out. An optical fiber reports the amount of infrared rays emitted by the alloy during the heating stage and a control instrument translates it into temperature. Thanks to this system, the output power is automatically controlled thus avoiding to exceed the preset parameters.

Medium frequency induction along with the ability to measure the power output allow the user to work with each type of alloy under the best conditions. Casting by means of electronic induction means progressively heating the metal from the inside outwards. This results in a continuous mixing of the alloy various components thanks to the rotating motion of the magnetic field. The accomplished liquefaction is evident as the melt mass tends to “rise” inside the crucible. Injection by centrifugation ensures maximum molecular compactness as it has been recognized as the only system capable of maintaining the material under high pressure until the solid state is achieved.
